The International Centre of Excellence for Community Schools

The International Centre of Excellence for Community Schools is a self sustaining, independent, non- profit making organisation supporting, developing and promoting excellence in the practice of community schooling. It works in partnership with any organisation, voluntary, public or private that has an interest in helping the growth, development and spread of community schools.

The International Centre will implement a wide range of work such as:

• Collect relevant data to assist policy makers and donor organisations
• Develop new work in support of community schools

• Promote and support transnational and international partnerships of practitioners for applications to relevant donor programmes so that practice can be learnt and shared
• Showcase best practice through dissemination

• Support those organisations which are promoting community schooling in their own localities, regions and countries
